Incident/Subject Criminal Case Representation

Date of Incident/Subject Aug 28, 2023

Description of requirement After eating at the Pink Cage Hotel, we were simply trying to get on the freeway to head home. We were subjected to gunfire by a member of the LSPD because we were driving a vehicle that they claimed similiar to one used in a recent attack against officers. While my friend and I were attempting to head back home to Grapeseed to locate our other friends, an officer suddenly began shooting at us from across the street on the sidewalk, even though there was no immediate threat posed to them or the State of Los Santos.

It's important to note that we were not in a vehicle that so called attacked officers, as photo evidence would show regarding an Infernus, which had no body damage or whatever they claimed we did besides the plethora of gunshots from that police officer on the sidewalk. How did we attack officers previously with a prestine vehicle? This vehicle is found very commonly on Vinewood Blvd as multiple celebrities and high profile citizens use this street to premiere their new movies, red carpet appearances and more....

After being taken into custody, we realized that we were not informed of our Miranda Rights or the ability to speak with a lawyer before continuing with the booking as they proceeded to question us and take statements in the police holding area about the incident.

I am left wondering why law enforcement resorted to using lethal force against us solely based on the similarity of the vehicle we were driving without correct and positive identification we were their "bad guys", especially as we attempted to leave the area and then again on foot after being recklessly shot at by a police officer. The officer clearly couldn't have verified or confirmed the vehicle's occupants without being able to see its license plate on the rear of the vehicle. Thus, resultiong in the officer shooting at the driver's side of the vehicle, causing injury to both my friend who was driving and myself in the passenger seat.

Furthermore, during the time we spent in police custody, the officers used plastic zipties, ones I use to keep my fairings tight on my motorcycle, from my belongings to restrain me. This use of makeshift restraints, which were too tight and caused bruises and cuts which were not medically attended to, appears to go against what seasoned police officers do. Such restraints were not designed for this purpose and should not have been used on me without proper training and consideration.

I'm excited to work with legal representation in order to pursue proper justice, potentially including legal and financial actions against these law enforcement officers.
