The Grounds for this Indictment are: I, Beatrice Winslow, responded to calls for assistance from 309 Stonewall in Paleto regarding a chase in progress. The chase continued down Great Ocean HWY into Chumash where the suspect drove on to the beach, popping a tire on his vehicle. The suspect then drove his vehicle into the water and lead officers on a swimming pursuit. After pursuing the suspect for around five minutes, the suspect exited the water and ran up onto Great Ocean HWY where he began swinging at officers and was subsequently incapacitated. Medical aide was rendered on scene by myself, 607 Beatrice Winslow. The suspect was transported to Pillbox Medical by 611 Fred Jackson and was then discharged and taken to the FWY station to be processed by 607 Beatrice Winslow. After his arrival at the FWY Station, the suspect was ID'd to be Mr. Berzak Serik.
During processing, Mr Serik identified to arresting officers multiple times that he was an illegal immigrant and had entered the state illegally. After hearing this, 607 Beatrice Winslow made contact with 222 Lilly Night and asked her to come and question Mr Serik in regards to his status within the state. Mr Serik was transported to Davis PD by 211 Joe Night where he was questioned by detectives. I, Beatrice Winslow, waited in the hall for Mr Serik to be returned to my custody for processing. After questioning was complete, 211 Lilly Night identified that Mr Serik had informed her that he had entered the state on a trash can whilst listening to Pirates of the Caribbean music. He also stated that a judge had given him 30 days to figure out his residency, however he had been here for 33 days.
Mr Serik also identified himself during processing to be a flight risk. Due to this, Mr Serik was processed on all charges and awaits trial inside Boilingbroke Penitentiary. Mr Serik plead NOT GUILTY to all charges brought against him.
